Home Chef SB is a food production and refrigerated warehouse facility located in San Bernardino, California, designed to support large-scale commercial meal preparation, cold storage, sanitation, and distribution operations.
Scope of work included electrical infrastructure upgrades and new construction for the Ready-to-Heat (RTH) production area, including modifications to the existing 3000A electrical service and distribution system, new switchboards, transformers, panelboards, MCC equipment, power distribution, branch circuitry, and equipment connections for refrigeration, blast chillers, kitchen equipment, prep areas, sanitation systems, and warehouse operations.
The project also included interior LED warehouse lighting, egress lighting, Title-24 compliant lighting controls, occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting controls, rooftop mechanical equipment power, HVAC and exhaust systems, production equipment connections, ceiling and roof electrical systems, grounding and bonding infrastructure, and coordination of refrigerated and conditioned food production environments throughout the facility.
